Dear Friends,
In 1776 Thomas Paine said, “These are times that try men’s souls.” Today, we are again facing daunting challenges. We know friends and family members who have lost their jobs, their homes, and their healthcare. Two hundred and thirty-three years ago, Americans rose to the occasion and persevered by working together. Today, we can meet our challenges by again working together.
It has been an honor to serve you in trying to solve these problems as well as many others. I have never forgotten, that I am in Columbus to represent and fight for what matters most to you. Your support and contributions have ensured strong representation.
This year we have made progress with the following:
Ohio’s campaign finance law provides for a tax credit contribution up to $50 for an individual and $100 for joint filers. The full amount of the contribution will be returned when you file your Ohio taxes. Please consider supporting me by sending a tax credit contribution either by mail or via PayPal at the "Donate" button above.
The 2010 Tax Credit deadline is December 31.

- Restored 14 school resource officers’ jobs
- Secured state funding for small businesses, like Aunt Minnie’s Frozen Foods
- Introduced land bank legislation as an answer to the foreclosure crisis
- Introduced five veteran bills, of which two of them became law
- Enacted a human trafficking law
